Just a flier to appologise to those of you who were not involved in this "last little spat"

Had a disagreement with fingers and flew off the rails...

I still dont agree with his point of view about away supporters but that dont matter.

I have PM'd him to appologise personally as i did the Mods. I have also explained the reasons why it went as it did.

As per previous with Cerny, i accept that i should not have taken the bait and you guys & girl should not have to read what i posted. When people press the same buttons you can be sure that you will get the same answers...that will change
Got loads going on right now, but should be a bigger person and look at the likes of Staine's predicament. good luck mate BTW

I still believe what i said initially was right.

I really hope the board pick up again and I'm gonna be watching from the sidelines for a while. Not because I'm banned but because its time for some self induced time out

If those involved accept my appol then great, if not then thats thier problem....Time for a chill out i think..lets hope this board gets back on track and doesnt go the way of others..

for the record...no drink or drugs involved!!!

    Sorry and Thank you

    Q

    Keep the faith

Fair play Queens. I'm sure Finglas will be gracious enough to accept your apology. That's the end of it now.

Despite our occasional differences (along with many agreements) I always have found you courteous (in your own way) and refreshingly honest. You also express the sincerest remorse if you cross lines which I respect greatly.

If you make any reference to your reply to me then don't worry at all mate.

Your honesty also includes stuff off forum and I hope those sort themselves out and look forward to seeing you back on here soon.

Was interested to see what the fuss was all about when I read your apology so spent a few moments reading it all up. That was some dust up. I think you know my views about Taarabt and his detractors. The problem as I see it is that if Hughes does not play him home and away for a decent run of games, we will never know whether you are right or we are.

The balanced view in all this, is that up till now he has been the most exciting player we have and the only one who could create something out of nothing. Agreed he has not done himself any favours when he goes missing or has a strop. However we will be a far less interesting side to watch without him. Playing away from home with 10 men behind the ball and then attacking by passing it sideways, backwards and eventually hoofing it up to BZ is a flawed strategy.

Granero may be all that you have hyped him up to be. It is early days and we will see. However he is not a flair player and we certainly need one.

Anyway, it would be unthinkable for QPR to play the rest of the season without a No.10.

That's not a "Balanced" view Yorkie, thats "Your" view.

I suppose we should bring back Buzsaky too because there's a slim chance that he might do something great every ten games or so?

No. Buszacky did do something great twice precisely last season. He has had his chance and has now correctly been replaced with someone, who should in theory be twice the player. You are right. It is my view of course. But some of you seem to think I am one of the Adel arselickers. I am not. He has his faults which are all well documented. However, as was pointed out, the season did not end when he caught the bus at Fulham. He got his head and act together and made a valuable contribution to our eventual escape from relegation.

It is far too soon to write him off after a poor game against Swansea. Much as you would love to tell us you had been proved right. That game was not lost simply because he lost the ball on one occasion and then did not chase back. I have no problem with Hughes punishing him provided he does give him the chance to redeem himself and fulfill his potential.

I have previously put myself in the realist camp on other issues. It is not an unbalanced view simply because you do not see AT as a PL player at all.

Sorry Swords I have to totally disagree with you on this one. The summation by Yorkshire above is one of the most balanced views I have read about Adel. It's your view on this one that tends to be unbalanced. We all know Adel is flawed. Nobody on this board will disagree with that. He is lazy, has an attitude and he is not consistent enough. These are all points that almost all on here will agree on. However, is he our most talented player? By a country mile. Does he have the ability to change a game in a split second? absolutely. I don't want to get into another MH thread as he is our manager and back him 100%, however, the brand/style of football that we have played under him so far has IMO being boring and unexciting. Adel possesses the ability to get you up out of your chair. He has more talent in his toes than most players have in their entire body. And yes I agree, that's what makes him all the more bloody frustrating. But the experts often say that there is an incredibly small line between genius and lunatic. I think we are blessed to have a player with his talents. I think we should all learn to accept his flaws. Why fight it? He will never change. Accept that on his day he will entertain the hoards, create and score goals and excite. On a bad day, he will drive his teammates mad and the crowd to despair. That's our Adel. Why not just learn to accept the flawed genius that we have rather than trying to change the impossible.

Nice one big man (Queenslander). You know you have our very best wishes in dealing with those huge challenges of yours.

Whilst you can fly of the handle sometimes, your ability to recognise this and its effect on the board does you great credit. You're very much one of us and welcome back anytime old son.

Why is it commonly accepted that Adel is our most talented player? He's probably the most skilful player we have but to judge talent solely on his ability to beat players is ridiculous. While his ability to turn a game on his head is undeniable I'm amongst those who've grown tired of waiting for him to fulfil his potential. I feel as though his occasional superb displays of skill and creativity are too few and far between and more often than not we are left paying the price for his laziness. It's been suggested above that by playing him week in week out would provide him with that stability he needs to flourish but I feel that's a risk we don't need to take. Taarabt is no longer our best player and to build a team around him when there are players of a good quality in his positions doesn't make sense.

Sorry to highjack the tread. I haven't read the whole thread but it was big of you to apologise Q.

Fair enough Yorkie. I just disagreed when you said the balanced view was that he's our most exciting player. Based on last season, the first for this team in the PL, I wouldn't agree and nor would a number of others on this Site. Cisse and Diakite were more exciting IMO. Other than that, I think yours was a very good post. NUTS your post looks very balanced to me (apart from the last sentence about accepting the player the way he is!).

    1) Trust me though mate, I don't EVER want to be proved right when I say one of our players hasn't got it. I've said that before and have been absolutely delighted to be proved wrong. Tarbs is no exception. QPR is first and foremost for all of us on here.

    2) Not only has he the talent to be a PL player but he could be one of the best PL players. I'm just not convinced he's got the grey matter that's all.
