Disappointing signing for us. He played like a man possessed against us, and played like a man off for us

Yeah, we got him too late in his career. Wasn't he in the Man City team that sent us down one year? The game when we took 000's to Maine Road?

Good lad though, Mick. Hard as **** too, so I wouldn't piss him off.

And..... Everyone else he played for against us. A last generation Tim Cahill if you were!!

MK Dons would have a good chance of winning if he picked himself for the game!!

In view of recent discussions about mags playing for us, it was interesting to see his last comment about his time at the craas?

They didnt like him because of his Sunderland supporting roots and loyalties and that was way back in the 80/81 season.

As for his playing career, apart from Luton and Wimbledon, he didnt seem to last more than 12 months anywhere else. he was utter ****e for us when he eventually signed, after scoring against us for opposition teams but I certainly would never tell him to his face.

Billy Whitehurst didnt fancy fighting with him so he must be a hard ****er? Lol
