http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19489930 Not sure why he would do this unless it's about money... what do you think?
It's the BBC and says that Eddie Jordan says it will happen, and Bernie Ecclestone said the Schumacher's leaving Mercedes at the end of the year.
On the contrary, there is one very simple reason he would move to Mercedes, which is that he would possibly be guaranteed no.1 status which he certainly won't get at Mclaren. I will believe it when Hamilton announces it myself. Not sure how Eddie would know this.
Key quotes: Also this: Seems very similar to the whole Van Persie thing for me, as an Arsenal fan. I think this is true.
I think I said a while ago that due to Red Bull and Ferrari's respective current situations, Mercedes was probably Hamilton's best bet if he did have his heart set on moving. That's not saying much though. Remember, many moons ago that Mercedes had a world champion in, but the team wasn't called Mercedes then, and we all know how Villeneuve's attempt to build a team around him went.
This is the same Eddie Jordan who assured everyone that Massa was awake and well after his accident in Hungary................... I wouldn;t beleive a word that the self-publicising know-it-all says until the persons concerned announce it themselves. There is more bullshit in that guy than on the floor of a cowshed.
How on earth did Eddie Jordan become "chief analyst"? It'll be refreshing to see Hamilton in another team (and with a team mate who's also a friend).
Been saying for some time that I wouldn't be surprised by this... If it's on, then I think it could be a very good move for Hamilton. He'll have some hard work to do, but with a possible #1 status it could be quite tasty.
Yep, it will be interesting to see him lead a team and hopefully build one around him - we will get to see how good he really is now he will be on a level playinh field with others. I always said that if Lewis or Jenson won the WDC as team mates, it would be a massive achievment!
I am both for and against this. I like Mclaren, I like Hamilton and I like Button so it was a perfect combo, that said sometimes change can be for the better. If Mercedes can simply become consistent then Hamilton has a realistic chance of going for his second Championship. Either way I think I'm happy with this outcome, it may not work but it also could work.

What else what his management going to say? Of course they are going to deny it. Part of me wonders whether this is just Eddie bullshitting, but Jordan has been correct about these things in the past. In addition to the links Julius posted, didn't he also mention that Di Resta was replacing Liuzzi a few weeks before it was officially announced? I could be wrong though.
