I sold mine for even less than that to a mate. This is the only game I will miss at home all season. Gutted.
What worries me is... So can anyone buy these tickets off of viagragogo or do you have to verify that you're a QPR fan? Also, is it only certain areas of the ground that you can sell these tickets? As opposed to members areas such as the loft?
Well it states at the bottom that ONLY a QPR fan is allowed to purchase the tickets, if they find out the buyer is an away fan, they reserve the right to cancel the sale...I assume they must do a name check against the fan database. Its ONLY for season ticket holders to sell their tickets....so they can be sold anywhere a season ticket holder can sit.
Someone on facebook was getting really angry about someone else selling their QPR V Chelsea ticket on viagogo for £100 last week. I reckon he must have been talking about you Franckster!! I can't really see what the problem is as long as it goes to a QPR fan.
ha....maybe mate.....but then they started off about £100 and were a number on there and they have been slowing increasing up to £350 over the last week or so. If he wants to complain, then dont buy the ticket....or get one from the club when they go on sale? This time last year, had I gone on holiday....my seat would have just been empty and they wouldnt had the chance to even go.
Cheers for that frankster. I've just asked my two daughters if they want to sell their STs for the Chelsea game for £350 each. " No dad. " They both said. " We hate Chelsea and wouldn't miss it for the world. " At only 9 & 10 yrs old too. I'm so proud of them.
ha ha good on them! I wouldnt miss this game for all the money in the world....unfortunetley I booked this holiday back in February before the fixture list came out and if I didnt go, my mrs would kill me and I'd never see a game again!
Yes, think it is quite good that this can be done legitimately. £350 blimey I have really missed out!
Gutted!!! My mate was telling me how arsenal do this and it would have swung my decision on buying a season ticket. I generally can't make 6 or 7 games a year due to work and kids. If I'd known this was available no brainer and I'd have got me and my lad one. Don't remember it being advertised in advance, damn!!
surely there is a limit on how many times you can use this service to sell your seat, otherwise it would lead to touts abusing the season ticket system
Cheers mate, I was surprised at that response myself. I was hoping they would say yes, go and spend the money shopping with mum while I got on it down the White Horse after the match with the lads.
Indeed you would think so, otherwise people would buy season tickets just to profit from them.....but you would of also think there was a limit to the price you can charge!! There is nothing on the site to say an limits of any kind...which I guess is a little worrying.
Nines - you and I discussed this; I came to the conclusion that 'sell out' would be a problem with 'severly restricted view' seats available. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/153903-When-do-tickets-for-Swansea-go-on-sale-to-members Seems I got it wrong
if you dont mind me putting my 50p worth in, so whats stopping me for an example,(i wont) buying a season ticket at rangers, going to a few games but selling off the big games to make a profit, surely people charging £350 for the chelsea game are already doing that, so we have legal touting, this cant be right i would not earn out a fellow ffc fan, it does not sit right
Well a few of your colleagues are flogging tickets for the Fools v Citeh game for £110 on the same site. Perhaps you should be preaching closer to home.
I do actually agree with this. But I guess it's just a personal choice, no one is right, no one is wrong. It's just what you are comfortable with.
