Why has no one mentioned Davis' pathetic attempt of keeping for Utd's second goal? I've never see a person move so slowly
Stoke haven't submitted a list yet, they've been allowed to delay it for the signing of Owen. What are you talking about? The ball came back off the post, he had no chance.
You obviously haven't watched it enough - it comes between two other players in front of him and there's no way he could have seen where it was going until it was too late.
I've watched it a number of times, I used to play in goal at a relatively high standard and I can tell you now - that was some very bad goalkeeping
Finally I have been defending my anti Kelvin Davis comments on here for the last 24 hours....finally a couple of other fans who read a good game and can obviously see the sun doesn't shine out of his @ss!!!!
You know there is a happy medium between "he's going to single handedly get us relegated" and "the sun shines out of his ass". He's decent, and it's too early to judge him. That's all I'm saying, so please refrain from trying to paint me with your absurd no-middle-ground brush. Well obviously your ability to see through solid objects contributed to your success as a goalkeeper
Sorry your right very true, he isn't rubbish I just want to see the team achieve fully and I think he is going to be our weak link this year!
To be fair (to Kelvin), though, wasn't it Saints' New Number 10 who in a previous post, while conceding our defence didn't cover itself in glory, said we should cut them some slack as they are playing against one of the league's best teams? In the interest of a bit of consistency - or equality of judgement is probably a better term - shouldn't that same slack be cut to Kelvin (even though I don't agree with his perception that SKD was at fault for the second goal)?
I stand by what I said, it was a horrible piece of keeping. But I respect your opinion and I have better things to do than argue with someone over a (very poor) attempt of a save.
I heard today [from a broadcaster I am ashamed to admit the radio was tuned into] that apparently they had, but the league gave them special dispensation. How about that..? Personally, I think that's twaddle and that you are correct.
