Bung 'em boys and girls. Had a look at the Hereford 16:10. It appears a race in two. Stonethrower v Tasheba. The former will probably lead the latter up, but I'm not so sure he can hold out Tasheba.

BATH.
14:20 Dutch Diamond. Jeff. "2nd."

HEREFORD.
16:10 Tasheba. cyc. "3rd."
17:10 With Grace. Red. "X"
17:45. Foxcub. Sir Barney. "3rd."

KEMPTON.
21:00 Cape Alex. RV. "X"
20:30 Albert Bridge. Toppy. "X"

LINGFIELD.

GOWRAN.

I fancy DUTCH DIAMOND to reverse the form on Monopoli in 2:20 at Bath, 4lb better off this time round for less than a length. 5/1

I like FAITH JICARO in the 2:40 at Hereford and I think she will come on again for her 2 starts over hurdles, I also think the extra half a furlong will favour her over the fav. However, the favourite FINCH FLYER (2/1) is 11lb better off for a nk defeat in similar conditions and has AP on board today. I don't think the handicapper has given faith jicaro a chance at 107.

Anyone still think Lance Armstrong wasn't a cheat ?

glad Mr self importance got his 7 titles taken off him. He was pumping himself full of **** every day - the bloke is a CHEAT and the sport is corrupt. Anyone who watches that **** may as well switch to Italian Football to get entertainment.

as for his team mate who has grassed him after all this time. He is a ****

Lol, calm down RV

I think it has cleaned up a bit recently to be fair, I read somewhere someone doing a comparison of the times for the climbs in the last few years tour de france compared to the times they were getting 5 or 6 years ago when just about everyone was doped up and they were much slower, if you think up until now, due to improvements in the equipment and training, times were improving year on year, it says quite a bit about how much of an advantage there is/was to taking these things.

Sorry Jeff but don't buy that it is cleaning up. Wasn't it only 2011 the Champ was caught cheating ? and this year someone was thrown out. Disgrace. Just cancel the whole sport they are all at it <rofl>. Same with athletics.

Afternoon, pilgrims. I'll nominate one in the old NH sphere today:

Foxcub (5.45 Herfeord) - the old regular readers were Ebullient with a capital ‘E’ last week when my advice to follow a Tom Symonds bumper horse, each-way, on debut was richly rewarded. Well I’m predicting more, I say more, of the same today. Very well tutored by Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, old boy Symonds knows what to do when he has a capable performer and can be guaranteed to have this one spot on for his debut. There is a long odds-on shot in the heat (with decent Listed form to his name) but I would expect Foxcub to be the one in the contest to give him a race.

A quick point re Symonds’ bumper horse from last week – he has Hot Rhythm engaged again on Sunday at Fontwell Park. She should be a leading, leading contender. Finally, whilst talking about the weekend fare Sir Michael introduces a son of Galileo at Ascot called Telescope (a headline writers dream of a name, surely). He’s in the ‘Racing Post Trophy’ and Derby and its attracted a couple of positive from the Gallopwatchers in the old ‘Weekender’.

Good luck all.

Unfortunately RV it is sad that cycling and athletics carry such a bad name because of its past, and to be honest it may never get rid of the 'cheat' label ever. I really enjoy both sports but i do take heart that they are catching these druggies on a regular basis. Will they ever get the sport, or any sport for that matter, 100% clean, i doubt it. Its not Utopia we live in.

I find it hard to defend the sports as, i too, don't like any sportsman no matter what sport they do taking drugs, so they have to bring in a once caught = a life ban. You will never get rid of the temptation of these sportsmen who cant achieve greatness without the help of a 'boost' unless it means life, never to play again...

Hello Lads.

Hoarding upholding the form of the Goodwood maiden that Steeler won...that race is working out extremely well.

I don't really follow cycling but was more than disappointed at the behaviour of Mark Cavendish after he failed to fire at the Olympics.Blamed everyone for his shortcomings and even had a pop at the BBC reporter!!..what a true Olympian he isn't.

Off for a perusal of the old form book.

GL everyone.

One interesting type tonight at 8.30 is Albert Bridge at a surprisingly big 8/1.

Well thought of and was originally a Derby entrant as a 2 Y O.

Very much a stayer but Kemptons finishing straight has a habit of lending itself to those finishing strongest and I like him each way.
