Well that rules Thpurs out unless you count one Mickey Mouse Cup in 21 years as indicative of a big club. How about one appearance in the European Cup in the last six decades? Touchy today, Power5purs!
You see that's what EC was talking about, you win 6 trophies in 60 years whereas a big club like ourselves have surpassed that paltry total in three years.

I would say yes, Chelsea only really cemented their place in European History after winning the ECL. We won the European Super Cup in 1998 so..... (Beating Real Madrid too). Hopefully we can win the World Club Cup in Asia and get loads of Asian fans like United, then we can sign a Korean or a Japanese guy aswell to fill our quota

For the first time in history your trophy count is now higher than ours - I can see why you are excited but you need to keep it up a bit longer before crowing too much.

Maybe we are a cup team, but it took you over a hundred years to get ahead of us in league titles won. We've still won more cups than you although we are missing the CL admittedly!
We are a much less older club than you though. Most clubs didn't win anything in their first 50 years of existence, there were already well established clubs before we came on the scene. The only fair comparison IMO is the trophy haul post-ww2 when the playing field is level? PSG may never equal Marseille's trophy haul. So what? They were founded over 70 years after them
