Cannae be doing with this ****e. 10 more days until Celtic play again. We have all the excitement of qualifying for the CL followed by the draw then the momentum is broken by some ****ey international games. And we also have the extra worry of our players getting injured. Harumph!
Cannae have it both ways. We moaned about Levein leaving out Commons. I'm not going on Saturday (I'm gonna be in Edinburgh) but I really hope we get a victory - we really need a good start and Serbian football fans are kantz of the highest order. I'm glad I'll not be in Glasgow on Saturday if a load of Serb nationalists are gonna be wandering about <carnage>
I used to like international football but just cannae get enthused about it these days. Levein's tactics don't help. No strikers against the Czechs and having to rely on a 97th winner against Lichtenstein doesn't exactly endear you to the man. What brings you to Edinburgh?
Go-karting with the lads (only 20 of us this time - last time was 32) - me n the wife were supposed to go through for the weekend for the fringe but the eldest daughter saw to that by inviting all her pals round that night and knocking back going to her granny's Afternoon at Raceland, maybe into the city to see the Serbia game afterwards, back tae the toon to get mad wi' it. Mon the Scots
Maybe the break is a good thing. There are not that many players away so it gives the new lads the chance to bed in.
Gained a few good serb mates in the states when I was there, but their football fans are ****ing insane. Sure, there was all the **** with them at the Etihad against the Socceroos last year as well.
International Breaks are usually a pain in the arse. However this one may have come at a useful time. Almost our entire first team players are carrying some level of injury and this week-end off will give many of them an opportunity to get their Limbs/bones or whatever rested and hopefully more of them will be fit and well when the SPL restarts as both the league games and the Champions League fixtures will be coming up thick and fast. I suppose there is no chance of our four new boys been in Glasgow settling in and not away with their Countries.
Under 21 playing at St Mirren park , lots of empty seats , I bet the Huns are enjoying the game then !!!seems to be their main interest at the moment
I think Tony may find himself below Tony now in the pecking order, Bangura's no allowed back so we have 3 in front of him if the other two hit the ground running. I fancy Tony's chances of getting at least 10 starts and 25 games.
As for international games I use to enjoy the Scotland games a lot of my pals are dons fans and I enjoyed the games with them but I just can't stand Levien.
