I visited Doune castle where they filmed that. I was on crutches at the time and I fell down a spiral staircase, hurt my leg again.

    Was worth it though.

The headset visitor guide is done by Terry Jones and it's brilliant.

To be honest I think all album covers are fantastic works of art.

But hey, that's just the type of guy I am.

    .....I`m Free !

the Clash released three classic albums...the others ( from sandinista onward were pretty poor )

I still regularly listen to the clash, give em enough rope and london calling, but never go near the others except for the occasional song....therefore this constitutes A FACT.

Crass formed in 1977 so that'll be a naw although it is good that you cited a group who advocate animal rights and protecting the environment <ok>

You appear to have overlooked the word "real".

Let's not get into what's real and what isn't.

By the way, I always knew you were a liberal, lefty, softy at heart.

From what I've read, punk made its way out of the mid to late 60s, from the roots of US bands like The Sonics. Then came bands like The Stooges and The MC5. It wasn't until the 70s that the Ramones and Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers emerged that the movement went "viral."
