Our season started 3 months in. 3 wins in those first 3 months would have put us in the autos. Too much to do with too little resources. To avoid doing a Swindon.......implode then get relegated after a briliant season, we the fans need to hear the following from the Chairman. Firstly that Hess will stay. Secondly that the team will not be broken up but strengthened. If we somehow make it into the playoffs, there is money to be made. IE striker / Cody McDonald type money. New contracts to those deserving need to be negotiated now. Planning for next season needs to start now ....NOT in November with loan signings and the crumbs that no one else wants. We are being embarrassed by 'pub' teams..... the likes of Accrington and Stevenage who struggle to get gates of 3,000. Do our players want success? all the goals conceded today were in the 6 yard box !!! Too quiet from the Chairman.
Yeah we need to get ready for another one in League 2 after today's performance, I would be shocked if we went up now as it will not happen after this ****.

Hereford, Morcambe, and Barnet.....three home bankers for a team pushing for promotion. 2 points out of nine, so what chance of any points away at Rotherham or Chesterfield? I predict that we will now finish 8th and just out of the playoffs on goal difference. BUT........as I said in a previous post, we need some positive commitment from the Chairman not the usual meaningless platitudes. Investment brings return.....there were 6000+ at the Gills today and LESS than half that at Accrington. If they (little more than a pub team) can press so hard on their budget and gates, one does not need to be a rocket scientist to work out that we SHOULD be able to do better.
