  1. Yes we were lucky to escape with a point, but how many unfortunate points and goals have we lost this season? How many lucky points have we achieved?

NONE. This is our first piece of luck all season, and it's a slight piece of justice for us.

I want to see better vs liverpool

    My ratings -

Krul - 9 - Motm again. Excellent. He deserves the rest of the season after two excellent performances, and he saved us the point really.

Simmo - 6 - Better in the 2nd half but pretty poor first.

Willo - 5 - Did ok but not one of his best

    Colo - 6 - Ok

    Enrique - 2 - ****! Shocking game

Barton - 4 - Didn't manage to influence the game as much as he normally does. He ran out of steam in the Manure game.

Nolan - 3 - Very poor. Made a few good challenges and helped out a bit in defense but mostly ****e

Tiote - 6 - Stupid booking. Needs to sort himself out. Best midfielder on the pitch though.

Jonas - 6 - Some decent runs and tracked back well.

    Ameobi - 0 - Utter crap

Lover - 5 - Got the goal but did little else

Ireland - 7 - Impressed with him. His passing and distrubtion of the ball is excellent.

    MOTM - KRUL

We escaped with a point and i'd have taken that before the game, even though we could have won if Enrique had have been awake today.

Are you crazy? Simmo 4? He had a great game today everyone always moans about his positional sense and backing off today he was hardworking and always in the right place at right time i'd have given a 6/7

No, this game yes. But I would say Guthrie, Colo and Tiote could have justifiably taken MOTM on Wednesday.

Agree with your ratings except I'd give Lovenkrands a 6. And yeah Krul has had 2 fantastic games in a row, probably his best two of the season.

Disagree with some of those ratings Tash.

Krul - 9 - Cannot fault, once again put in a great shift between the sticks. He saved our skin at times.

Simmo - 6 - Decent performance, especially in the second half. His positioning was top class.

Willo - 4.5 - Played okay, didn't stand out though.

Colo - 6 - Made some crucial interceptions, but not at his best today.

Enrique - 4.5 - Utter ****e in the first half. A small improvement in the second, but still not up to standard.

Barton - 4.5 - Had little influence as you said, didn't link up with Nolan at all.

Nolan - 3.5 - Slow, slow, slow. Looked like he couldn't be bothered for most of the match... can only hope he improves against LFC.

Tiote - 6 - Decent performance as usual, made some strong tackles.. although some were quite unruly and he could have quite easily seen red.

Jonas - 5 - A crucial element to our team as usual, he created some of the little pace we had on the wing although was let down by poor passing and general play in the centre of the park.

Ameobi - 0 - Absolute, utter ****e. Doesn't deserve a start against LFC, I'd honestly rather play Kuqi (at least he wants to play). Ireland should take his place against LFC.

Lover - 6.5 - One of our better players, got the goal and had the odd chance. Far outperformed Shola too.

Krul 8 - Saved our skins. Was very good today. Impressive display by the youngster.
Simpson 6 - Not one of his best displays but wasn't as shocking as most. Held his own IMO.
Willo 5 - Average display, looked shaky(how many times have I said that this year?).
Colo 6 - Better than Willo by some degree but not a performance to remember.
Enrique 3 - Shocking today. Did he have Liverpool in his mind? Needs to get his act together for next week.
Barton 3 - Shocking display. I think the Man United game took his toll on him. Disappointing performance in general.
Tiote 6 - Average. Although worked his socks off for the cause and looked more interested than his partner in crime Nolan.
Nolan 2 - **** performance. No real energy, no real mobility, looked somewhat tired in the second half(might have a injury), passing was poor and looked out of his depth at times. I don't want him in the starting line-up next season. Apart from his goals I don't rate him <ok>
Guti 7 - Looked good in the first half for some while but run out of gas in the second because of all that defensive work he had to put in. Not his best performance ny any means though.
Shola 2 - **** performance. He was very poor against Man United but today he didn't even look Championship standard at times. Why didn't Pardew put on Ranger/Kuqi on for Shola much earlier?
Loverman 7 - Yes he scored but I thought his general display was very good. Showed good effort, movement and energy. One of the shining lights that's for sure.. why did he get taken off? Ridiculous decision by Pardew.

    Subs :

Ireland 6 - Showed good passing, movement and ability. Looking good and will only improve with more matches. Hopefully he starts over Shola next week. <ok>

    Kuqi - N/A.

Pardew 5 - Disappointing. Tactics and subs all wrong. Was looking for the draw after keeping Shola on and moving to a 4411/451. Needs to be a bit more adventurous and brave IMO.

Krul - 8 (Outstanding in the first half, little to do in the second - MOTM)

Simpson - 6 (Extremely fortunate not to give away a penalty, one of our better players)

    Willo - 5 (Pretty crap)

Coloccini - 5 (Tried to be clever too often on the ball and didn't look comfortable against the pace of Phillips and Campbell)

Jose - 5 (Wouldve been a 3 had he not had an okay second half. Why the hell was he stood behind the line on the goal?!?)

Barton - 4 (Had a shocker, his deliveries were really really poor)

Nolan - 4 (Slow, clumsy and just generally dreadful)

Tiote - 6 (Not a good game at all by his standards but made a couple of decent passes and kept the ball better than the rest of the midfield)

    Jonas - 5 (Non-existent)

Ameobi - 5 (Could have had the game dead and buried within fifteen minutes. Unbelievably clumsy but had no support after Lover went off)

Lover - 7 (Was our best outfielder in the time he was on. Took his goal fantastically)

Ireland - 7 (Looked bright and linked play up really well)

Perch - 6 (Did nothing wrong but equally did nothing right)

Kuqi - 7 (Was on for literally two minutes but gets a 7 because he spent the whole time he was on the pitch running flat out to close down and win the ball back)

Pardew - 4 (Wrong substitutions at the wrong times)

Nearly Tash. Defo MotM today. Would have given it to Tiote against Man U, but with Krul a very close second.

Your point is taken though, very good back to back performances by Krul.

I think your being a bit fair on Colo and Willo, they tried to play the ball out of defence which lead to us conceding.
As for Barton he intercepted a pass which set up Lovenkrands nicely.
I'd give Jonas and Simpson a seven, good covers and runs.

Just got back from the game

Krul - 8 - outstanding, as I have mentioned before on one off games he is immense, fingers cross he can keep this up for rest of season. MOTM
Simpson - 6 - our best defender, let down by Barton, Tiote and Willo who helped him at no point in the game
Willo - 4 - very poor, couldn't cope with the movement of the Blackpool strikers, lacked composure, passing was abysmal
Colo - 5 - as Willo but some passes were ok
Enrique - 3 - Our worst defender today by a country mile, to me suggests he is now gone and past caring
Barton - 4 - Poor, crossing/passing nowhere near his usual standard, a moaning git
Nolan - 3- for the millionth time he is not a central midfielder, he is not (as someone has suggested in other posts) a box to box midfielder unless you meean one side of the box to other side of box. Game passed him by
Tiote - 5 - poor again, booking again, his turn on the balls are beginning to pee me off now - next season all clubs will be aware of this
Jonas - 6/7 - Looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders today and he did - the ONLY creative spark and outlet in our entire team, worked hard both attack and defensively. Passing/Crossing let him down but with the rest of the players he shouldn't of wasted his energy
Ameobi - 4 - hopefully people will see now how **** he is. Have mentioned before how lazy this fecker is, waste of a place and a wasted of Rangers potential.
Lova Lova - 6 - apart from the goal not much to done however no support from Ameobi and the midfield so not too much at fault

    Subs

Ireland - 7 - Looked good from where I was sat, looked like he was fighting for a contract with us, gave a ****zu, good passing and vision which is what we have lacked all season
Kuqi - 6 - not on long enough
Didn't see Perch come on let alone see if he made a contribution - this means he cant have ****ed up so will give him a 6

Pardew - 1 - consdiering his comments about an almost full strength team his tactics/subs were dire, there was no plan A, B or C
Us fans - 7 - not as noisy as past away games I have been too, but I was (am) pretty drunk

Am I the only one who thinks Williamson played well today? Out of the outfield player I thought only him and Coloccini played well.
