QPR were even more poor against Norwich than they were against Swansea and still got a draw
If QPR dont finish in the top half of the table it will be a failure with our team, if Norwich stay up it will be a shock to everyone with the squad and manager you have

No-one who knows about football will be surprised when you go down, and no-one will weep when the inevitable hardships start when you do.

    agree with the first part

the second part, is this the view on our squad because we have only spent £9m net compared to however much QPR have spent?

Really appreciate the 'vote of confidence' in our team and I've every confidence after our battling display against Spurs that we'll be fine, as long as we play like we did at WHL!! <cheers>

As for QPR finishing in the top half of PL ......... I certainly wouldn't bet on it! <ok>

I think I can detect where the 'thicker' in 'gimmeethickerhoops' comes from - "even more poor"? Poor indeed as was the team when they played at CR.

I think this is where your wind-up logic falls short; you have hit the exact reason why a comparison can't be made and even when you do it as simply as this, it makes no sense.

The Fulham match last year their performance was much worse than at the start of this season- Ruiz had a shocker, their defending was weak and they slacked off on the second half allowing us to nearly pull back a draw. This time, Dembele, Ruiz, Petric on his debut and Diarra all had stormers. So the comparison is imssible because the two (partially) different Fulham squads performed differently.

The same can be said at WHL- the Tottenhma team under Redknapp had a shocker, the system he put out was all wrong and our players played brilliantly. So while on the face of it the Tottenham team has got worse, actually the performance improved. This time around our team did equally well, but came up against a keeper having a stormer, without which the result would have been a Norwich win.

As for the QPR match, I don't think we played all that well in the last match and our finishing was atrocious, yet we still almost had enough to beat (we drew comfortably) a considerably improved (at least financially) QPR team.

So apart from the comparisons being virtually impossibleto you have made the added error of failing to contextualise properly.

Ultimately, your question is stupid though, because obviously any Norwich fan would have preferred to see Lambert staying. You know that, and thats why this is such an obvious WUM. He was undoubtedly the best manager we have had for a long time and was totally irreplaceable, but that doesn't automatically make Hughton a bad manager. In fact, from what I have seen so far, Hughton has learnt from his mistakes quickly and is a very good manager. I'm getting more and more confident that we will stay up each match because we see improvement.

<laugh>ok so it was a bit strong, but Guru your post, REALLY?

One of the most pathetic attempts of a wind up.You come on here just to give us your ridiculous opinions about our team.I wouldnt mind but you hate anything yellow and green so much and obviously love that crock you follow that a debate is with you is pointless.

So as it upset you so much how about i call you an opinionated pissflap instead.
And as for the hardnut remark, errrm, yes I am actually.I have to be in the job I do,but thats another story.

ps.if anyone calls me a **** i would not be that offended as i have been called a lot worse in my time<laugh>

This is one of the worst wind up attempts I've seen from them and their usual standards of wummery are quite poor to say the least.

Since when has being a "hardnut" been a requisite for working in McDonalds?

Actually mate, I'm with you on this one, I've pretty much been called every expletive under the sun on these boards, couldn't give a monkey's...if you go WUMing other boards, (not that I would do such a thing, of course), you've got to be prepared to take some flak back!

Thing is CroweyIQ66, I didn't actually complain to Dave,Maestro or even on this board, they saw you for what you are, and I'm sure they will back me up on this one. They know that people like you make their job harder, because how can they take the moral high ground against opposition fans, when they idiots like you on the board.

One question, how do you say "do you want to go large" in a hardnut tone?

I wonder how long Fernandes will stay around after relegation when there is no publicity for him in the championship.

    QPR are Pompey mark 2.
