'Fraid not. If you click on the Premier League board button at the top you can see how many threads and posts there are. From the looks of things we get more posts per thread than others, whilst we don't have a particularly high total post count which is probably because we could do with a few more users.

I think its more to do with thread merging.

i think ours Newcastle,Sunderland,Pool,Arsenal,Chelsea are the most productive..United is not too bad either..Qpr are not too bad either....the rest are depressing..City and everton for big clubs is dire.

Norwich and Stoke aren't too bad either, but I agree City, Everton and Villa are bizarrely empty, guess they never migrated over here.

The clique thing:

Replace the word "clique" with "group think". The group think on here is not good. People wont say things like "I like David Bentley" because of it. Like it or not, comments close to that on here have been said and people have been belittled because of it. Also, once the group opinion has been formed on here, there is no way to change it.

Like always, it's not something unique to not606. I'm not even saying it should change. It is what it is.

Interesting point Inda Group Think? maybe to some extent you are right so all those who think David Bentley is sadly under used say your piece. We have a strong Jenas supporter on here (at least one) so I think there are posters on here who do not subscribe to 'group think'.

On the other hand maybe it's because most of us watch the games closely and come to similar conclusions about players.

Look at the differing opinions on Harry, no group think there, and the response to the first 3 games none there either.

I think there is a difference between belittling and putting a strong counter case, but come on, if you post a controversial comment you have to be prepared to defend it. That's half the fun is it not?

If the Bentley that Blackburn sold us turned up i'd welcome him with open arms and say he could be a really useful member of the squad.

I use the app alot, it's great for when I need a football fix when sitting on the chairs in topshop, reiss etc etc accompanying my bird whilst she shops.

I'm also a bit of a lurker, I like to see peoples opinions as much as writing my own, on our board and others such as the goons.

This! <ok> Nothing like a bit of Not606 whilst my girlfriend shops, helps deal with the constant 'How do I look?' questions <laugh>

guys, if you are really obnoxious while your girlfriend shops (make sure you have at least 1 bust up per outing) eventually she will learn that taking you is just torture for her and she'll leave you at home.

Back to the matter at hand...

I'm a lurker, and proud of it. Supported Spurs since the mid 70s, seen the trials and tribulations of being a Spurs supporter and lived to tell the tale.

I don't watch the games these days due to lack of funds, but avidly follow their progress, thus I have nothing to contribute to the intelligent debates on here...but in the meantime, hello all, and COYS!

Cheers for the advice, I'm still young and clearly haven't learnt the tricks of the trade! <laugh>

Actually I was a lurker on the old BBC 606 as Dark Side of the Moon but I found it all too hostile. I found this site and even if Spurs posters disagree with each other the debate tends to sort things out without hostility which is what I prefer. I wish more lurkers would post.

Fair enough, welcome <ok>

Good to hear people are visiting just for a bit of a browse on Spurs too. I assumed most people were visiting to comment or searching for Tulisa's sextape <laugh>

You mean it's not on here? I always assumed it was in the 'Sexy Poll' subsection of the Toon board...

Did you "assume" because you've bookmarked it? ;)

Apparently there was a thread in Off-Topic about it and it was getting 10s of thousands of views because it was coming up as a result on Google for it.

I was part of Spurf's original recruitment drive (still waiting on the 50 quid btw) but with the odd post here and there, have lapsed back into lurker mode since AVB came in, and didn't want to come accross as a misery guts, as I think we're fooked with him in charge.

But always pop on when time allows to keep up to date with any threads of note.:)

Some of you may laugh at this, but I do wonder if the set up and lay out and quirks of this site might put a few off. The JA606 site is more in line with the old BBC606 site and does look easier on the eye than this one. I know for a fact there are/were many who when the BBC site shut down, went on JA606 out of sheer laziness because it was a more familiar lay out and have stayed there ever since. Just a thought.

The Tulisa thread still has 15 guests as I post this! <laugh>
It had thousands for days when it was first posted and virtually crashed the site.
