In my day we used to swim in the North Sea back in the day when men were men and the sheep were glad of it.

The beach used to be ****in hoachin.

Ah balmy days indeed, the 70's when there used to be four seasons and I don't mean the pop group.

 

i was swimming in the north sea last february just for banter, it was ok after the first 15 seconds and the cold turned in to pain and then after a few minutes more everything went numb and i wanted to sleep.

 

Aye summers aint what they used to be.

 

I went for a swim in the Tay one night after coming out of a nightclub pished. Wasn't one of my better ideas.

Dundee. Came out the club, crossed the road and there was the river. Seemed like a good idea at the time despite it being December.
