There is another difference between the two. One cost £600k the other cost £15 million.

Both good players. Raheem has been brilliant and it's good to see a youngster who shows talent and effort being given a starting place.

The comparison I saw on Sunday was OXO taking the ball from Sterling and Sterling going over.. getting up and getting at oxo and winning the ball back knocking over oxo who then sat there with his hands up looking mugged. Big difference with attitude, one hard working never give up the other a diva in the making.. no comparison

Both are extremely promising. Oxo is probably a little better in terms of end product right now but then he's two years older, isn't he?

Makes you regret things like getting an education when you see these teenagers earn thousands per week doesn't it!

If both make it, England could have a cracking front line in a few years.

    Sterling - A.N.Other - Oxo

Unlike oxo Sterling has the attribs to be really effective.

Already he's shown a head older than 17. He has discipline vision pace control quick mind, at 17.. He was our best player against Arsenal and one of our best against Chitty at 17. If handled right this lad could be something, he makes early Ronaldo look like an Irish dancer

I agree on Sterling, he does have the potential.

But Oxo is a better decision maker than Walcott or Gervinho already (not hard mind).

For a 17yr old and still fairly slight,Sterling's not afraid to put himself about and win the ball back.
Now he's been given the opportunity of first team starts he's been impressive in most aspect's.
Keen to run at defenders and his positional sense is good for his age.Only a matter of time before
he starts scoring on a regular basis,a real positive looking towards the future.

The Ox is also a fine young player, very strong, big future.

They do have an education, in football. A football academy is a school.

England have some good young talent. Whole team could be awesome.

    -----------------Hart--------------------
    --Walker---Kelly-------Jones---Robinson--
    ----------Wilshere----Rodwell------------
    ----------------Shelvey-----------------
    ----Sterling---------------Chambelain----
    ----------------Welbeck--------------------

Plus: Butland, Richards, Henderson, Cleverley, Sturridge, Carroll, Rose...

Sterling is an exciting player. He as the option to play for Jamaica to though.

A team like this is exactly what we should be fielding now! Gary Neville talked about getting rid of the old guard, unfortunately that was BEFORE he joined the England set-up and has probably become a yes man with regard to this idea now. The politics/marketing with regards to the FA will ensure we are never this bold!

    You know what I mean!

That's a fair team. Maybe lacking in the middle and up top a little.

I think I'd have Cleverly in ahead of Shelvey and start Richards at CB over Kelly. It is a team with huge potential, shame they are going to be playing woy football
