Deacon Blue's "Raintown" was overhyped at the time, continued to be overhyped, and is now being re-overhyped because they brought out a new album last month.

I despised deacon blue with an irrational burning hatred - and happened to sorta know a couple of them via friends of friends - and was subsequently quite unpleasant to them whenever our paths crossed....fast forward about ten years and I was having a new year party back in glasgow...door goes about 2 or 3 in the morning, I answered it completely twisted. and its ricky ross and the bird at my front door looking for their friends( who it turns out lived in our street and were at the party )...cue the all new rogueleader in the role of gracious host ...


...cool story or what.





Theyre still ****e though.
