I hereby solemnly swear that until further notice I, Uber Of Hoopdom, shall not be making any negative comments concerning the suitability of a certain Mark Hughes as manager of QPR until such a time as the Rs lose at least three games in a row from this moment forwards (not counting Saturday's defeat to Manchester City). Any fellow R is welcome to sign up with me.
He has done well wherever he has been but always been a bit of a slow starter. He has got the team he wanted now so lets see where we are after 10 games. I reckon we will be a few point off relegation places and improving game by game.
I agree that it is time to give the Hughes bashing a break. I am not convinced by him but he will ultimately be judged by results. He has brought in some serious quality and there can be no excuses after a certain period of grace. What should that period of grace be?
I'm in, and I am absolutely certain that Imaz, BelfastR, Shefford and Oslo want to rein in the criticism too, so add them too, no need to ask.
I'm out too This is based on Hughes dire away record at my club caused entirely by his overly defensive tactics
Provided the next two games aren't thrashing I'll reserve judgement (or at least on here) of Hughes' tactical capablities. However, come October I'm expecting to see some wins and I think we definitely will.
I'm out! Nobody can be immune to criticism. Unless he starts beating up players or similar, I don't think he should be kicked out after 3 games either. He ain't that bad, and I don't think that fragile either!
Count me out. Have never had any time for Hughes nor his friends Kia Joorabchian and Boris Abramovich Berezovsky and never will.
I can just see it....Chelsea have stuffed us big time and Hughes is in The Dragons Den larging it about gelling, positives and....and for that reason i,m OUT...
