Anyone seen it? Thought it had to sent in 24 hours after the window closed - or maybe only working days count?
It might be done tomorrow so the teams who play tonight arent disadvantaged. It will be on the official and PL site 1st for a change.
Not too difficult to figure out. Everyone with a number except Murphy. Only DJ, Hulse, Murphy and Young missed out. Youth players don't count.
Murphy has a number, hes has to if hes been on the bench but either him or Cerny will miss out and both have numbers.
Based on current info on the QPR website - here's 26 players - likely the youngsters can be included in squad given their age? Imagine that the 3rd GK will either be Cerny or Murphy, not both, to make it a 25 man squad. 1 - Rob Green (GK) 2 - Samba Diakite (M) 3 - Armand Traore (D) 4 - Shaun Derry (M) 5 - Anton Ferdinand (D) 6 - Clint Hill (D) 7 - Ji-Sung Park (M) 8 - Andrew Johnson (F) 9 - Djibril Cissé (F) 10 - Adel Taarabt (M) 11 - Shaun Wright-Phillips (M) 12 - Jamie Mackie (F) 14 - Esteban Granero (M) 15 - Nedum Onuoha (D) 17 - Ryan Nelsen (D) 18 - Kieron Dyer (M) 19 - Jose Bosingwa (D) 20 - Fabio Da Silva (D) 22 - Hogan Ephraim (M) 23 - David Hoilett (F) 24 - Radek Cerny (GK) 25 - Bobby Zamora (F) 26 - Brian Murphy (GK) 32 - Alejandro Faurlin (M) 33 - Julio Cesar (GK) 40 - Stephane Mbia (M)
So it basically picks itself, it would be funny if both goalies were picked and hogan was left out. I dont think Hughes has done himself any favours with the treatment of the players he wants gone, I would have included Young (even though I dont rate him) instead of hogan just to give us a 4th choice at FB.
Go on then, give me the other end of the squad. Who does it mean is going to be left out. A goalkeeper plus...is it just Young, DJ and Hulse?
I think those three were a formality since they were not assigned shirt #'s. Suspect our youngsters are also included (our U21's beat Cardiff convincingly away today), and either Murphy (more likely) or Cerny (potential goalkeeping coach?).
If Young, DJ and Hulse are out, we have 26 including 4 goalies so obviously only 1 goalie will miss out unless 1 or more of the other 3 are in. Id actually include Hulse for Ephraim as Ephraim will not see a minute of game time and we dont have another target man apart from BZ.
Maybe a good call since we are definitely light up front - I do recall a few games when Hulse performed the target man role quite well, roughing up the opposition defenders in the process.
#13 or #21 could be available for Rob Hulse? Re: Hogan Ephraim #22 - we certainly have enough midfielders (ala Barcelona), but are definitely short of Bobby Zamora type target man forwards.
