Have you ever use BOSE headphones?I've used Sennheiser, they were pretty average.

No, BOSE produce the best headphones, it's a fact.

BOSE specialize in developing headphones. The headphones that pilots and astronauts use are all from BOSE.

My mate works for BOSE. Shame that I am not a big music man and pee him off when I call it BOSS!

I'm currently using Sennheisers and I love them. Haven't used BOSE so can't compare but there's certainly nothing wrong with Sennheiser.

They are alright, but once you listen to some music on BOSE headphones it will blow you away.

    From the Bose Wikipedia page:

Discussion of the quality of Bose products can sometimes elicit strong and polarized opinions. There are two major camps: those who see Bose as a maker of high-end equipment, and others who see Bose as a company that uses marketing to make extravagant claims for otherwise ordinary products.

In some non-audio related publications, Bose has been cited as a producer of "high-end audio" products. Commenting on Bose's "high-end" market positioning among audiophiles (people concerned with the best possible sound), a PC Magazine product reviewer stated "not only is Bose equipment's sound quality not up to audiophile standards, but one could buy something that does meet these stringent requirements for the same price or, often, for less." Bose has not been certified by THX for its home entertainment products.

Pilots and astronauts don't just use them for fun, they use them because they're the best.

Different reasons though. For pilots and astronauts they need 100% reliability, they don't need to hear the slightest grains in the voice of the guy in ground control.

Bose are contracted with NASA and the US military, yes, but unless you own a Bose military headset or aviation headset, then that argument doesn't count for much. I highly doubt you listen to music on the same model.

Ah yes, John Cage's 4'33'' enjoy one of the most absurd pieces of classical music.

In a late piece of Not606 news, it has just been revealed that Mr Gaston Ramirez became the first ever poster to be sponsored this afternoon. The sponsors name will be revealed shortly, but it is believed to be a manufacturer of audio equipment. <whistle>

Dear God, why is the video 9:23 long? John Cage was a massively pretentious prick.
