He did deserve more games but i don't think Sir Alex disrespected him. Last Season Sir Alex changed the way united play adding speed in to the game which didn't suit Berbatov's style of play. I think he should of left Last summer. What are your thoughts of what he had to say about Sir Alex?
I think it's a shame for him becuase he just didn't fit in at United properly. He's a fantastic player, but when it doesn't work it doesn't work. I don't there's enough information there to judge either, I think both have just done what they had to. Berbatov being such an expensive player for us was always going to be "important" and his experience and ability was, it just didn't work out for him at United.
Probably fair comments imo. SAF is well known for putting the team ahead of the players, I doubt he spent much time on Berb after Welbeck came through so impressively last year. That said, I'm pretty sure if Berb had pushed for a move last summer he'd have got it, so he has to shoulder a fair bit of the blame himself for not seeing what everyone else realised.
Well you just contradicted yourself - regardless of how hard Berbs would of worked in training if he didn't fit the system he wouldn't have played? I think the best thing to do with Berbs is just say wrong player at the wrong time. No need for comments from him or Fergie now.
