Well lads (and lasses) - ordered my ticket this morning and looking forward to our next encounter. Honours were even last season with both teams winning 2-0 at home.....but obviously I'm looking for a better return this year for the Lions....just a point between us at the moment so would settle for a comfortable draw! COYL
You'll have the whole of the north stand to yourself then ! You'll need to jump around a lot to be noticed. Good Luck.
I miss the 'cross-board' banter - it's boring when you keep getting the same old stuff re-cycled by the home fans (Leeds - Bates out etc). Anyway because of the previous couple of posts - I'm gonna revise my expectations to a 1-0 win for the Lions!!
Is anyone coming this time Tommy, apparently last season there was a grand total of 116 Wall in attendance?
I think it was an independent site hosted by the original Rivals network, but Millwall used to have one of the best messageboards at a time when there was a lot more competition. Was it a journo that ran in it or was he just a prominent poster? Does it still exist or has it died a death?
I wouldn't be too confident - this league is more unpredictable than ever. I thought Millwall would struggle from the off but they've done well to beat Boro.
didn't travel up last year - so I suppose with my missus coming up as well - that'll make 118 this year!
Tough game, hard to call. Last season we didn't play well in either fixture. At the KC, it was a pretty average, typical championship scrappy affair and you gave us a scare when you hit the bar just before we went up the other end and won it through Koren. The year before, our tactics didn't do much for attacking football and you had Morrison, Trotter and they dictated proceedings. Think Pearson had alot of pressure on him from the crowd at that point and the performances & results up till then hadn't helped the cause. You deservedly won it. And in the second game of that season, you thrashed us off the park at the New Den. I'll go 1-0 City. Home advantage to pay off, just.
Trotter's a tidy player, I'd have quite liked us to have a go for him, though as we've got Quinn now, it would just be greedy.
I'm going to miss it now, just had to book a trip to Hong Kong and I land at Heathrow at 4.15pm An extra £1k to land in time to get back for kick off. Well pissed off.
Millwall dont have much quality and there 2 wins have come against a poor Posh and spluttering Middlesboro. It wont be easy but if we play as well as we did against Bolton then i will go for 2/3 - 0 Hull City. Job done.
will you be bringing your own seats this time? will your 120 fans be hiding their faces from the cameras once again?
