A lot of talk on here of players not up to much, played out of position and MH doesn't know his arse from his elbow. The bottom line is he now has two weeks to work with the bulk of the squad and get the pattern right. I don't think any of us can pre-guess the formation or line-up but I am sure the side that goes out against Chelsea will be his strongest and, therefore, tell us what his vision of this squad is for the coming months. I just hope whatever the formation is that the side play like a team and not a buch of individuals...

I think he should take them to Portugal for a week for some team bonding sessions.

We will have a couple of players making their debuts against Chelsea as well as others who are new here
    Lets not expect miracles overnight
MH is going to get the best out of the squad and select the best 11 but it may take a few games yet
We will not be in relegation trouble at the end of the season and maybe have a cup run

    As much as I would love to beat Chelskum again one point would be more than welcome against an undefeated team. Reckon it will look a bit like this;

    Cesar
    Fabio, Nelsen, Mbia, Onuoha
    Adel, Granero, Park, Hoilett
    Zamora, Cisse

Can you believe the names not on the 1st team sheet? Shows we have come a long way if Green, Ferdinand, Diakite, Faurlin etc etc are warming the bench.

Not so certain Hughes will play two up front though, maybe he will drop either of Zamora and Cisse to bring in another midfielder.

I just hope we dont lose to Chelski. A big ask I know with a new team but I really dont wont to lose. I hope the new players understand what it means to the fans.

Like this but I think that it will probably be 4-5-1 with a more defensive midfielder added for a striker.........

I think Hughes will play the same side that faced City, with the exception of Cesar for Green ( feel for the lad ) Park on the right and Hoilett for SWP but on the left.

Especially at LB! Has to be Boswinga and Fabio at FBs.

Id also have Faurlin in the middle and Park instead of Taarabt. Wed get hammered with Park and Granero in the middle and Taarabt and Hoilett on the wing. No cover for the defence at all.

I am definitely in the camp that says it's way too soon to be writing off MH as tactically inept as some seem to be doing but... didn't he have an entire pre-season to 'work with the squad'?

    For me it should be:

    ---------------Cesar-----------------
    Bosgingwa---M'Bia---Nelsen---Fabio
    ---------Diakite-----Faurlin----------
    Park----------Granero-------Hoilett
    --------------Zamora----------------

Will need the numbers in the middle of the park against Chelsea.

The Chelsea game will be another good run out for an emerging team. Those that played in the 6 nil at SB will be out for some sort of revenge if possible but they may be few in number! With Mbia coming in and the 12th man in fine voice I would be incredibly happy with a draw. Another win would be just superb beyond words.

I was daft enough last season to declare at work that I would run through the streets naked if we beat Chelsea and then, to my disbelief (I know, shame on me), QPR and Sir Chris Foy did indeed beat Chelsea. One promise I had to break!!

    RTID - it was 6-1, not 6-0.

Can see us beating Chelsea, IF we put two players on Hazard.
