    was a poor challenge, no malice, no intent though just mistimed it and if he hadnt went off would have got a yellow. But dont like to see a proffessional losing a whole season with what looks like could be a long road to recover,, alan smith did one similar and was never the same after.

    Hope he does get back playing sooner rather tthan later.

    It was a clumsy challenge, but wasn't foot up or anything like that and he certainly didn't deserve the injury. Hope he gets up and about asap <ok>

    I actually agree with the above but still think it was an awful challenge.

    It is tough on the lad, was a poor tackle by him, but he did not deserve to hurt himself like that. Heres to a complete recovery.

    Look forward to return game where I hope we play better and no injuries to either team.

    Thanks for the well wishes, no malice to Sunderland fans as basically the injury is his fault and not the other player. Think most swans fans thought he was to blame for the injury on Taylor and were booing him afterwards, anyone watching motd after could clearly see it wasn't so. He will be back next season raring to go, he's a young lad so he still has his career in front of him, the surgeons think he will make a full recovery.
