On an earlier thread I suggested that I'm not bothered by a poor start, I feel long term, Brendan Rodgers is the right man for the job. Its just the way he acts, and speaks, and that documentary has made me even more confident. This way sound wierd and premature, the only thing I can see when he speaks is.....Alex Ferguson.

At what point does the buck stop with FSG. Never as long as they have people to blame then sack. Ian Ayre may be totally incompetent (I really don't know) but FSG promoted him and sat there telling us how impressive he'd be. BR has been here 5 minutes and already they've done a great job of bending him over and shafting him.

The owners have got the man they wanted...the man they told us was in their opinion the best bet to take us forward...and then completely and utterly betrayed him by not backing him financially.

This bullshit excuse I keep hearing that because they let Comolli piss the Torres money up the wall they are reluctant to spend again...well I just don't buy it for a minute. They got their man and then proceeded to make him sell to buy then proceeded to pull the rug from under him at the very last minute. He's done the tough job of shipping out a lot of the higher earners surely in the belief that he'd at least be given that and a bit extra to re-invest.

In all honesty I wouldn't blame BR if he walked out tomorrow (even though I suspect he will stay because he'll want to do his best).

BR:I would need to be a nutcase even to consider at this moment to let Carroll go out, unless there are other solutions for that."

I agree with this entirely! Far too early to even have this debate, unfortunately its an indication of the media 24hr need for topics to dissect! 3 ****ing games.....................and I would'nt even call myself a BR supporter....................................yet!

He's entitled to his opinion, even if it's baseless.

Anyway, my dad heard Ayre is for the chop. Dunno how hard that rumour is but it suggests Ayre screwed up over Carroll. And Rodgers hasn't ruled out a free agent, meaning Owen. Hahaha, gets rid of a fan favourite and brings back a Judas. Good work, Bren. Tell us again how great the fans are.
