Both quality left backs, Baines puts in some cracking deliveries and has a lot of assista but we love Jose

Really Tash? His crosses consistently hit the first man and barely get off the floor.

I think its a bit too hard to tell - Enrique has the pleasure of having Jonas supporting him down the left hand side where as Baines has no support

I'm praying he comes on leaps and bounds so we can get dross like Barry out of the England squad

    (he's class on FM ;))

  5. Are you ****ting me?

Maybe i'm over rating his consistancy because i'm comparing him with Jonas... <doh>

Anyway, i agree he could be more consistant but the weights really on his shoulders on that left hand side, as Jonas rarely puts in a good cross.

I think 1/2 of Enrique's crosses are world class though. He always picks out good runs and there's tonnes of chances he creates that only require a foot to get on the end of them and they'd end up being goals.

On Tuesday 90% barely came off the floor. He's no more consistent than Jonas when it comes to crossing. When Enrique gets them right, they are world class, but he produces a lot of poor crosses.

  8. His crosses are far more consistant and of better quality of Jonas'. He doesn't put in as many obviously, but he generally creates better chances. You're getting him mixed up with Jonas.

Best crossers on our team are easily Enrique and Barton.

Have to say, I agree with Tash. Jose's crossing and passing is class. Blackburn away he must have made six clear cut chances which our strikers contrived to miss. I think if we had a decent finisher to get on the end of his crosses then alot more would be made of them

I'm going to do a Hoadie and agree with you all. Jose is able to put in some wonderful crosses but is sometimes liable to put them too low. Generally good though <ok>

Yes i'm getting our long haired right footed winger mixed up with our short haired left footed defender...

Think you're dreaming a bit Tash. He is very inconsistent. He doesn't put as many in, but when he does they are better, but only when he gets them right. Too many hit the first man. Keep an eye out for it. Best crossers are Guthrie and Barton.

I agree that they are class... but his problem is too many sloppy 5 yard passes, and too many low crosses that are cleared before they reach the front post.

Yeah fair play. I think with the sloppy passes, he just seems to lose concentration after doing the hard part.
