Same here. After the swans game I questioned his methods during pre season but at no point did I feel like slagging him off. He's done enough in this league as a player and manager to earn my respect. But some posts I've read since yesterday are just vile personal attacks on MH and I can't figure out why. It's not even justified. Ok, so he couldn't get a result against the champions away from home but he's conducted himself in the most professional manner since his arrival. So why the animosity towards him? Do some still harbour a grudge because TF replaced Warnock with MH?

That's the only conclusion I could come up with as well 12th and I posited it on a thread yesterday but no-one answered. One poster says he has evidence that he's profiteering from the transfers in an under-hand way but he's just one lunatic. The rest must still be hankering back to COLIN's era even if they won't admit it.

I didn't think he should have been sacked at the time and I also think he would've scraped survival like Hughes did but he's long gone now and people should get over it.

    Plus, he was a *****R!

Glad I'm not the only one swords. I do notice there is a correlation between the people slagging MH and the ones who adore Colin. FFS if that really is the case then some really need to move on. I'm not saying MH is a saint but I see absolutely no justification for the negativity towards him, none.

If that's the case then North must be planning to lynch poor old Sparky when he arrives at Harlington tomorrow morning!

Count me in as well. I think MH is doing a good job and just needs time to gel the team and bring in the players he wanted. Keep changing managers doesn't work and we need to stick by him and the board.

Me too, I don't get the vitriol directed in his direction at the end of the day he helped us stay up & managed to attract some exciting talent. We're in a far better place than been for many years but some people just want to be negative. Having been supported in the transfer market it's now up to MH to show what he can do & should be given the chance to do so.

I have tried not to be vitriolic in my posts about MH, those made immediately after the Swansea game excepted, which was probably a knee-jerk reaction to what I thought was a **** performance with a **** decision by MH which I have documented well enough.

I have tried to glean opinions from fellow QPR Not606ers that may change my views about MH, and thankfully I have found some. I am not 100% convinced, but I am getting there despite some bullshit aimed at me for having the balls to say what I think.

    Thanks for your constructive opinions.

I have to say that for a team with seven new starters from the Norwich game, playing the League Champions away, we could have done a lot worse. I think there is time to work on the system that suits the players best and will eventually play to our strengths. Positives from yesterday were the way we took the game to them in the closing stages and actually seemed to have them on the backfoot and the class that Granero showed, I have to say we should be building a team around him as he is a class above anything we've seen in that position...

I think youre getting him confused with Warnock who had the least tactical ability of any manager Ive seen since Holloway.

The only reason we looked bad in the first half yesterday was because they were so bloody good, thankfully they didn't have their shooting boots on.

But In the second half, although it was quite raw, we did play some good football, in fact against any other team it might have looked like excellent football. But we were away to the biggest spending team in the world, with some of the best players to prove it. But we did alright, we lost, but it was a massive improvement on our previous two games.

I we continue to improve along these lines we will be mid table for sure. But the senseless panic and slating of Hughes I don't get. Even amit and Tony are getting massive abuse on twitter, why???

Obviously football forums mean everyone will have an opinion, and there will no doubt be disagreements.

But for me I fully trust MH to get it right. It will take time. Some people just have no patience. I am probably one of the worst for being despondent about our chances and I find that helps me. But despite a slow start to the season I am still postive about our chances. This is the best squad in years, and I mean a significant number of years. MH is an experienced manager and has the tools to get it right. But with so many new faces, and MH changing the way we played from last season it is bound to take a bit of time.

My only worry is that of points - we cant afford to be too far adrift in a months time. But then we do need to have a few wins on the board.

I am not and never have been Hughes biggest fan. I thought against swansea and norwich the tactics were completely the wrong way round. Yesterday i thought his tactics and selection were spot on and we still lost , granted to the champions. Make no mistake, very few managers could attract the sort of players we have signed recently. Could you imagine Caesar , granero or mbia signing for Neil or Paul hart or Ian dowie??!
The bottom line is that as manager of the team i support, i will in turn support him regardless of my opinions on selection or tactics as shown on this board there will always be a difference of opinion over whoever may be in charge.

Me too! Just can't imagine that NW would have attracted half of the signings that we've made over the last few weeks - the quality that MH has bought into the club will surely gel within the next few weeks, and consolidate our position in the league - meaning that we can then start looking upwards towards the top half of the division. Some people have no patience and want instantaneous results - this was always going to be a mid to long term project, so buckle in for the ride and get behind our team - COYRssss

I'm not saying he should go far from it. I just can't see the wisdom in promising something he cannot control that's all. Christ unless you're a happy clapper on here you can't venture another opinion!

I just want him to shut his gob, stop making BS promises and get on with the job. I'm not asking for a top 6 finish, European football or even a rob hulse hat trick, just stop the media sound bites please
