one positive from the game was that Adkins has found 11 players, that fit the formation and put them in the right positions. lets just hope Ramirez starts well. where will he fit in the team?

Paul Scholes indicated a problem with the ball...probably a bit flat. There had to be a reason why they were 2.1 down I suppose.
I bet Scholes got a message from Fergie and knew psychologically it would effect our game as well. If we had got something out of the game, Fergusson would have blamed the ball. The shirts and now this! Pfffft.
Quite how we lost that I'm not sure. Bit disappointing to concede from two set plays, but you can't give Van Persie aninch. He'll have better defenders than ours for breakfast this season and if the ball breaks to him, there's not much that can be done.
