There is your problem. If the fans think like that then he will probably be sacked if Man U win at Anfield on Sept 23rd. For Rogers to succeed and win trophies at Liverpool he will need YEARS, not weeks.
he won't get sacked, at least I hope not. It will take time to implement his system and is already showing signs of working in areas. The biggest issue is lack of striker and that is not BRs fault
Yes but you're obviously mentally deficient so we'll just pat you on the head and agree with you.....pat....pat....you're a good boy...
You have also got Steven Gerrard playing the way he has always played, which doesn't fit the system. For him, it is obviously very hard to curb his natural instincts and play simple balls when he loves hitting 70 yarders. There have been signs of improvement - but the last 25 minutes today were dreadful from a Liverpool point of view. At Swansea BR had all the time in the world, because expectation is lower. At Liverpool, time is of the essence - the transfer deadline fiasco has almost made his job impossible. Time will tell.
He won't get sacked for many reasons one of which is FSG won't want to give up on their plans so quick or pay a whole load more severance so soon after the summer. I think while the team are trying to learn a new philosophy, FSG are learning what the prem is all about over here so it will all be viewed as early days, learning curve, etc. for everyone.
Now surely that would make him a legend. Maybe if he did that with some mobile pics of the event he could blackmail some striker money for January!
Yeah but can you imagine the scene, shes laying on the bed ready and instead of diving straight in he walks to one side of the bed, then the other, then back to the wardrobe, then to foot of the bed, then back to the wardrobe, then .....................
I remember the teams under Evans played good football with no end result, Fowler aside. Nowadays we don't have the hope of a Fowler or teenage Owen to look forward to. I said whem these sh!tbags ran away and left Kenny holding d"ick in his hand over the Evra stich-up that they're phoneys, or H&G2, as they should now be known. Good luck to Brendan - it was Everest two years ago, but these asset-strippers have made it Olympus-Mons. Just don't lie to us Brendan, and stand up to them and we'lll stay behind you. FFS, we have no choice!
In all fairness, KD and DC pissed away nearly 80 mil on: Hendo, Downing, Carroll, Adam. It's obscene. Especially when you consider only a year later two of those players are still with us, and as last resort backup...
Now your talking sense...rodgers put his cards on the table infront of the owners a 180 page document that what he wants to achieve in the next 3 seasons. He never stated it will be in place in three weeks but three seasons at the most but probably much less. The only player you have got that is confident on the ball is young joe allen and maybe boroni to a lesser degree. you wont get relegated and you wont get into the top 4 this season but given time then Brendan will improve the squad and they will all get to the standard of passing that joe allen has got...Its not going to happen over night so get that out of your heads, he has been given time and unless the owners change their mind then you should all get behind the team and Brendan whether you win lose or draw....
Sorrt STID, page 181 has been ripped out. Rodgers never had a Plan B. Only once he changed his system and we drew 4-4 with Wolves
Am I the only person that thinks Joe Allen is massively overrated?? When the guy is isolated 1v1 he panics and loses the ball! He is a one trick pony who can only pass the ball 5 yards backwards or sideways. The Barcelona players have played this way since they were young kids, the best thing Liverpool can do is grin and bare it until the youth come through that can actually play the way BR wants. The major problem with this 'ticka tacka' style of play is that there is no plan B if a team sits back and hits you on the break. Having a massive striker who can win almost any ball in the air would be a good plan B though... oh hang on lol He's now at West Ham
