Platt? Probably more than 15 years ago, but nowhere near as long ago as Rush! Not to mention Hoddle, Waddle and Gazza.

I fell out of my seat reading that article. Credit where it's due to 'Arry. <ok>

EDIT: I also believe Walcott will start playing through the middle soon. Watch this space.

The fact Chamakh wasn't on the bench today leads me to agree with you.

I think they will move Podolski to the middle before they go with Theo.

I'd leave Poldi on the left, his work rate is excellent, if we move him into the middle, it would hurt our defence. I'm enjoying this 0 goals conceded stat.

I agree Kyle. Pod was immense offensively and defensively. He needs to give Walcott a few lessons on doing that (if he does remain a winger that is.)

That's why Podolski has been a first team player for Germany for so long, despite them have so many talented players. He is such a team player and is also so effective from that left hand side.

The surprising is, for the German team he doesn't put in half as much work. He ususally sticks strictly to the position on the left and doesn't track back at all. He plays with a lot more freedom here.
