Ba needs to get that scoring thing off his head.

Poor first half. Too many players haven't woken up yet this season

We've looked pretty hopeless. Dreadful set pieces are a particular highlight.

Don't think the formation is helping either we often looked pretty rubbish playing 442 last season as well.

Hes not good enough to be greedy. Its a team game and its about the team winning! Its drilled into players from youngsters but it amazes me how professional players just ignore it.

Not to worry yet, we'll look much more dangerous in the second half. I hope Pardew takes out Guti for Obertan, Ober + HBA wingers, with Anita down the right, we finally have dangerous flanks left and right. Too bad for Simmo, I have nothing against him, I just have something against the board for not getting any more fullbacks in.

I'm not sure why people are singling out Ba - The whole team has been a joke.

Put an extra man in the middle and play Cisse up on his own. Take Ba off and shoot the useless **** in front of the other players

Ba has been bad for a while now. Its like he's only bother about scoring goals! He hardly ever gives the ball to Cisse either :S Do you think they dont like each other??

He's been no worse than anyone else. In fact this season he's been far better than Cisse. People gave him a ton of **** at the end of last season for not scoring even though he was still working well in the team. I don't know why you lot have turned on him so quickly. His goals in the first half of last season kept us going, and whilst I don't think he should be given a free ride for that, he does deserve a bit more respect than he's getting from you lot.

I'm not interested in individual players scoring goals, they win and lose as a team. Ba shoots from crazy angles and distances when he has other players in better positions. You have to question his head I think.

I'm sorry but what has Cisse done? Ba, with his back to goal and 3 defenders round him played him in, 6 yards out - he hit it straight at the keeper! Ba hasn't been good, but he's been involved and he's been working hard!

Gutierrez started terribly, Cabaye is playing too deep, our CBs didn't deal with crosses that were played in and Simpson was way too central to get out and stop the cross that led to the goal. You're singling out one of the only players (bar Santon) who has actually threatened them!

They win and lose as a team, but it's all Ba's fault going by your posts.

Everyone's ****, not just Ba. Cisse seems obsessed with scoring more wonder goals - But I'm guessing he's trying to score goals in other stadiums judging by how off-target his shots are. Cabaye's demonstrating his masterful passing ability, by repeatedly passing it to the opposition, etc. etc.

Poor, everytime we have played 4-3-3, we have looked threatening, fluid, and just basically a whole lot better .. the disjoint between the midfielders and the strikers in 442 is so apparant. Cabs n Anita/Bigi are pinned back, HBA and jonas havent been great either Which leads to Ba n Cisse having to do it all by themselves when they get the ball.

In 433 the attacking mids and strikers tend to move up as a unit more .. and that gives Ba n cisse options..instead of just having a pop at wierd angles ...anyways Iam peeved at a missed opportunity this transfer window ..so its all looking a little bleak to me atm
