Good point, I just think Shola will be too strong for Blackpool though and will create holes in the defence that Nolan can exploit.

This is the sort of game that Loven rises to the occasion and bags a goal so he keeps his place for the bigger teams and plays awfully so he will score today

Optimistic, Ranger won't score this season he needs to go out on loan next year. I hope we can win but they are fighting for their very lives and it will be tougher then everyone expects, 2-1 to toon.

No offence to Blackpool, but if Ranger's going to get a premier league goal this season and have a massive confidence boost before he goes on loan, Blackpool are the best bet. Would give him half an hour, he has caused chaos to the best defenders in the league, should be able to give them the run around.

He should be scoring against teams like Blackpool but he doesn't match his potential with application and if he cannot sort this out by the end of next season he will fade away into obscurity.

Yeah he definitely needs a season in the Championship to refine his game, he has the ability but seems to lose all his composure in the PL, which needs to be fixed sooner rather than later or all that potential will go to waste.

This one. It's a bit hard on Lovenkrands being dropped but Nolans get's us goals and we look a better team with him.

i wouldnt start ireland, playing for 30 mins vs man u to me didnt look 100% fit.

    krul
    simpson willo collo jose
    raylor barton tiote jonas
    shola nolan

stick raylor in, we all know he has one hell of a right foot on him, wipping crosses in for shola, put barton back in the middle and let tiote sit behind him while barton run around, just like we use to last season but it was smith sitting in behind the centre mid.

Pards won't start Ireland. It'll be our usual 442 and he'll bring Ireland on sometime after half time.
