If Mannone gets a clean sheet tomorrow, i believe he's leading the golden gloves race. Not bad for a 3rd choice (probably 2nd choice, because he can actually catch)
Yeah. From now on we'll just agree to disagree. You're actually a pretty sensible guy. And it feels stupid to argue and have a fued with any Gunner.
We should stick with the same back four, also bring back Oxo into midfield like we played him in pre-season .(on my phone so excuse the dodgy formatting.) --------------------mannone------------------- Jenk------merts----------verm-------gibbs -----------Artera-----------theox-------------- --------------------Carzorla-------------------- Walcott----------giroud------------podolski
I'm not sure about starting Theo, i'm thinking he could work well as an impct sub, once Agger and Skrtel are worn down a little.
Here's the formation I'd start with today: please log in to view this image Though I think this game would suit Gervinho well, he can be subbed in at about 60' to spice things up.
Here's a Giroud interview, for those that haven't seen it: Seems relaxed and confident he'll make it.
I think we all want Mertesacker to line up against Suarez. His type of centre back (Hangeland, Terry etc all struggle against him too). Will your fullbacks be Jenkinson and Gibbs? Important game for both of our sides today!
No way Wenger will pick Mert for this game if he has a choice. Unless Koscielny isn't fully fit, he will play.
Gibbs is our first choice at LB unfortunately (surprisingly no one agreed with me that our LB was more of a priority to improve), and Sagna is injured still. But Jenkinson is playing OK, and Gibbs' pace should be useful.
I am suprisingly confident but if we do lose, it will be due to our fullbacks. That Sterling kid is dangerous and he's going to terrorize us down the flanks. 2-1 to Arsenal.
Shame there's no Koscielny, but Arteta and Jenkinson should help destroy the Suarez threat to Mertesacker.
