Anyone who said we overpaid for Fletcher please leave the room now. 1 league game, 2 goals and he isn't fit yet. We all have a go at Catts but when he went off, we collapsed in the midfield. Until we get better he is the man for me. Sess, Larsson and Johnson were poor. They need to grab hold of games more when we go forward. We need Colback and gardener back in midfield as soon as possible too. That said, great point at a difficult venue and our star summer signing gets 2 goals on his league debut. Happy days but better required going forward. FTM
Wait till we are fully fit, we will be much better. Good point away to Swansea. Swansea look good, high confidence whereas we have just put our team together and missed a game. Fletcher has shown he can take his chances. I still expect a lot more from his all round game but like Johnson and Sess' he is lacking match fitness.
We won't be under anywhere near as much pressure in 90% of our games. Swansea are flying high and an away match there was always gonna be tough. Our defence is more than fine, swansea kept the ball very well, which obviously meant we had to defend a lot, most teams will not keep the ball that well. In the next few weeks when our signings get fit and Sess does as well we will be looking very good
Lacked authority in defence but Fletcher took his chances well. As a sum up, all the goals were easily preventable.

Agree with all of this - l am hoping that Rose makes a good LB and that Bardo is back soon because whilst they are doing ok, having 2 makeshift full backs is a bit concerning especially at this point of the season - there is a long way to go to the next window if it doesn't work.
Why was this post ended with FTM? I was impressed with yous today up until the Swansea lad got sent off, not many will get much from Swansea this season imo, Fletcher was impressive.

Just as I wouldn't slag the lad off if he didn't score I'm not getting all gooey eyed because he did, it's his first game if he keeps that up then fine I'll join the fan club. If he scores extra goals for us great all for that but, he hasn't yet so jury is still out for the next couple of months. We drew with Swansea at their place last season 2-2 I think it was so all Fletcher has done is score the goals someone else would have. We need him to be scoring those extra goals to get the full 3 points or rescue a draw from games before I'll hold my hands up and say I'm wrong.
