OK, I know I'm not going mad (although I do have a very young child so am tired). However, I watched the game on ESPN today and know for sure that their first goal came from a corner that should never have been given. In fact, they showed it 3 or 4 times and again after the goal, Tevez kicked the ball against his own foot and it should have been a goal-kick. On Match of the Day, they showed a completely different incident leading to the corner that they scored from and made no mention of it what-so-ever?? Now, I know the BBC and FA hate us but that's ridiculous, to pretend it didn't happen and show a different incident so as not to embarrass their ****e officials and tucking us up once again to boot? If I am obviously over-tired and am miss-remembering, please tell me.....
The wrongly given corner was given, it was semi cleared but then they got another one right away which they scored from. Since we never gained possession, we can feel hard done by but it wasnt scored direct from the wrongly given corner.
Thanks, I knew I wasn't going mad. Why, why the fu(k would they do that? Is it to protect their officials or just to wind us up??
Oh god, did you watch the game properly? After the corner that shouldn't have been we didn't clear it properly and gave away another corner which they then scored from!
I've had a really ****ty, upsetting day and something tricky that needs to be dealt with in the coming weeks. I tend to get more irreverent, cynical and flippant at such times.
I don't mean this disrespectfully but I hope you have a lot more shi*ty, tricky, upsetting days because you're gold on here when you're in this mood!!
Like I said, I am very tired, so that may well be the case......either way, the goal wouldn't have been scored without the officials fu(king up once again. Oh and that new ref at Swansea today looks like another great!!
