Jermaine Beckford set to leave?

I got a feeling Harry Kane could be coming in. Sky have said they think he is going out on loan but no idea where. We have been linked before and it would be a Nigel type signing

Would assume the transfer will take place when the loan window opens? And is that straight away?

The wording of that article seems interesting to me.

All we know for sure is that Huddersfield wanted him. We're not sure whether he was offered up by Leicester to potential suitors but the fact his agent was saying he isn't for sale the whole summer leads me to think he wasn't.

Then Pearson starts the season with him ahead of Nugent. In the article, they say they couldn't reach 'any common ground' - to me suggesting a deal was miles off.

All this leads me to consider whether we really wanted to get rid in the first place?

I wonder if Beckford will be in the squad today. If the deal was as close as we are led to believe then I don't think he will be involved today

In the league we've played 3 and dominated each of them.

Had we taken our chances would we be worried? No, Dave Nugent needs to get on the score sheet. I can see Futacs starting with Vardy today.

However, i dont like Beckford, but if ever there is a defence that he could get through...

 

Beckford scored twice in his last appearance against Blackpool. I'd like to see him play a part today.

When Nigel was asked on this he said other clubs shouldn't comment on others

I thought he was crap when he came on today. He lost the ball every time he got it and when we had the opportunity with a player going through on goal he hit it too hard so it was out the players reach or he was offside. I'd personally give him a lift to Huddersfield if he wants it that bad
