Major weakness IMO. Poor positional play. Gives the ball away cheaply. Traore must be better. To be quite honest I would even prefer Hill there.
He was a big disappointment I thought today. As a loanee, he has a lot to prove up 'til January. Otherwise it's a spot to be improved. Boswinga showed how it should be done. He looked good defensively and contributed a lot up the pitch.
Not sure about best player bob but certainly not as bad as suggested by some. Do agree Traore may offer better options going forward but thought Fabio put in some very important challenges.
He also stopped a certain goal. I thought he was one of our better players, particularly in the first half when too many looked starstruck and ended up playing some sort of training game- attack Vs defence
Thought Fabio was vastly improved today, but was genuinely horrible against Swansea. But he can't kick with his left foot! No quick crosses from his runs. I fear there is something wrong with Traore, he clearly stopped trying against Norwich and was subbed sharpish - injured or attitude.
i thought he was great today too, as was Boswinga. I thought Johnson was the worst player by far, he only got involved once which I admit led to our goal. I also thought SWP was rubbish and Hughes left it too late to make the subs, should have been Hoilett for SWP and Cisse for Johnson. We will look much better with Cesar, Mbia and an up to speed Faurlin and Grenaro (finally someone who can take set pieces without hitting the 1st man or putting it straight out of play!) in the middle.
I can't agree flyer, Johson and SWP were good too! Particularly Johnson, he never stopped trying, and produced a far more defensively sound performance that Cisse would have.
at 2-1 down with 20 to go, we needed a goal which wed have had more chace of getting with Cisse on. Name one positive thing SWP did in their half. i didnt see him create a chance or have a near miss. He offered nothing going forward. Hoillet would have offered more, although like Cissem he would have offered less defensively.
