However slow he is, I think he is better than Anton every game. Nelson will have to play out of his skin today with the Champions attacking him, and Anton alongside.

I just hope to God that the Rs don't ship an early goal or two. If they can get to HT maybe only a goal down at worst, then there's always a chance not to be embarrassed (I'll ignore Swansea home as an abherration!)

I share the concerns regarding Taarabt's omission. Wonder what's going on?

I actually would have played both them and I like the back 4.
I just don't get playing 4-4-2 away at Citeh and selecting SWP ahead of Hoilett, Mackie and Taarabt (who didn't even travel!!?). We have one holding midfielder, Faurlin, who can't be match fit. The midfield is in real danger of being completely over-run.
However, I could be wrong.......my youngest likes the team and tells me it's good to go there and attack. Hope he's right!!!

Would have preferred Faurlin on the ench to be honest and bring him on second half. Looking forward to seeing Granero. Surprised Cisse not being up front with BZ. MH is mixing it up!!!

We seriously need to get a result today to shut the f***ings pundits up! I'm so fed up with it, even the Norwegian ones are having a go without presenting the facts! <grr>

They're the starting players alright but I hope that ain't the way they line up.

We kept City out for so long last time by parking the bus. With Boss and Fabio likely to run the flanks, we'll need a compact defensive midfield of SWP, Faurlin and Park to hold the City slickers at bay. Granero to provide the attacking link to Zamora and Johnson.

Anything other than that and I, and I dare say a good few others will be joining Belfast behind the settee!

That's a good point Brix. Could well be 4-3-3. Still doesn't look right with the players selected though. Surely Zamora will need to be central which means Granero playing in a wider position with Johnson? Hopefully those there or watching can tell me how we've lined up?
