Dire this, sitting way too deep against 10 men, really missing Catts in my opinion

Doesn't look like we're playing for the win. You wouldn't even know the Swans are a man down. No one in the box when we're up attacking, and we're just hoofing the ball up field now. Pretty poor tbh.

I'd have taken a point before the game. Wish we could keep the ball like they did.

    good point, poor performance.

still, we're unbeaten in two away games to both a top four team and the in-form team...

still no plan b which is a concern, wish we had someone in the middle who could keep the ball like they do.

Positives two away games two points but imo still too many average players within the Sunderland squad Coleback, Meyler, Gardner, Campbell, and Larson and dare I say Sessegnon is over rated?

Playing on the back foot, and players not interested in playing two games on the trot !, same as usual like last seas

Tbf, Swansea isnt a team you can expect to wipe of the pitch. They play the possession game, which makes it hard for any team to do anything. Especially away from home, i think even the top teams will struggle against them. They looked very good. 10 men down and they kept coming forward, keeping possession. Gardener played good i thought, put in some crucial tackles, as did Colback. Campell had a shot blocked at the death, and Sess was tying his best, but we were defending too much to allow him to play his natural game.

Im glad that fixture is out of the way, Swansea are a very good side.

    Missed Catts.

    Larsson had a day off.

I would have left Sess on and took off Larsson especially when they were down to 10.

Sorry but I just don't rate Mingolet at all, doesn't look like the defence do either sometimes.
WTF was he doing edge of his box to give away that corner?
    No positional sense at all.

I'm really ****ing disappointed we didn't go for the jugular when they went down to 10.

Swansea are a good side with players that are quick, can pass a ball, keep possesion & score goals. Understand its still early days but the players that didnt cut it last season didn't cut it again today. As for Cambell having a shot blocked so what? His goal return is poor!

Why was he taken off? Also Gary Bennet on Century said very poor today. Just my opinion is that he plays a lot of nice stuff but has very little end product.

I said after the Morecambe game that Larsson is not a centre midfielder and will hinder us, after today I still stand by that.

I'm also with the poster who is against Mignolet, I feel Westwood is the much better and more solid keeper.

Good point today, Arsenal and Swansea away, 2pts = very good
