well catts is a defensive midfielder so he wont creat much and larsson had a bad game.. thought johnson and mclean were poor aswel tbh
early days. thought they were trying a few things today which never came off. once the players start gelling and understand each others movements things will improve. happy with a point.
Lads , please , Its early days for **** sake, and we are still unbeaten. isnt that enough for now? Let the team get a chance to gell, and Poolie, please dont try to change the team every five minutes, if we had bought every player you suggested on this site, we would have had a bigger team than NATO.
Perhaps Catts will be better thought of now, as when he went off we lacked drive and spirit in the centre imo. He can frustrate and annoy but there is no doubnt he is sorely missed when he isnt there. Sess, McClean, Larsson and Johnson need to show much, much more to make me happy but as poitned out above, this is early days and we are still learning about each other as a team. 2 points/2 games/away form home and our joint potential record signing is off the mark with a brace in his debut league match. I'm happy.
Watching it back you can see a lack of fitness in players like sess' fletch, Johnson. We will get there though. Another couple of weeks before our next game doesn't help.
We need some sneaky b******d who can create the telling pass to the goalscorers. No probs with the others.
