And that is what Button can do when all is well. Beautiful lap. Probably the worst race to be on pole, but after this season so far i don't care. Feels like a win
Incredible session, it's like the start of the season all over again. Raikkonen had better win, all my cyber cash is on him.
Shuts up quite a lot of people, I felt like this in Monaco, good on you and him. Well done. Congrats Kamui (Miggins) and Maldonado. Looks like Lotus didn't live up to the hype today, but it all may change tomorrow. As for Mercedes, well Brundle was right, "they might as well go home". Surprise performance by Vettel also :L So this means low downforce was the better option right?
Sooooo, which cars are the fastest then, I'm confused? Well done Button, kobay and pastor, but who's got the race pace...
I suspected McLaren would get pole as they've been very competitive since Germany, I just didn't expect it to be Button - good job by McLaren and him. Maybe things would have been different had the team not made the wrong set-up choice on Hamilton's car. What a shame for Massa! He needs to beat at least one of Alonso's rivals tomorrow to stand a chance of staying in F1. Unfortunately for Massa, after tomorrow it's only going to get harder - Monza and Singapore are Alonso's specialist circuits.
Should be a great race tomorrow, really hope JB gets a good launch, you dont want Kamui and Pastor along side you into turn one
apparently jenson got the new wing, lewis didnt because there was only 1.so eventhough lewis is above jenson in the championship, they still give jenson the new part. make of that what you will.it will just give the conspiracy theorist more ammo.
Remember, Hamilton fans can't grasp the idea that Button can beat him occasionally. There's always some evil conspiracy against Hamilton, usually due to Whitmarsh.
I suppose i should congratulate Button for his excellent performance. I didn't get round to it earlier, i was daydreaming about Kamui winning tomorrow (it could happen).
Honestly it could happen. Maldonado could also make up for his past mistakes. But Kamui has quietened down this year, more mature and primed. But with the pace Button has shown, it might be a good option not to bet against him.
Should be more concerned about who'se behind him. Pastor might mistake him for Perez
As a Kobayashi fan it pains me to say it but I can't see him finishing on the podium, every time he's qualified well this season something's gone wrong. Being around Jenson "crash magnet" Button and Pastor "I did not see him" Maldonado doesn't allay my fears.
