from a personal point of view i'm still pinching myself at the likes of Cesar,Granero and M'bia coming to us and now Mr Hughes has his work cut out to find the right formation and tac-tics to get things going.if you ask me i wouldn't put too much emphasis on the man city game as it won't be the full squad. i share a lot of other fans concerns about the defence not being strengthened but i would prefer the likes of dawson didn't come here after his outrageous wage demands.maybe some deqals were close but fell through and i know for a fact that was the scenario with carvalho. lots of fans from other clubs have labelled us the "slut" of the premier league but frankly they are just bandwagon jumping no marks who can't spell the word research not alone know it's meaning.the funniest one personally was a 15 year old man city fan ripping into me on twitter but rest assured with a few choicely placed words he beat a hasty retreat lol. anyway now the hard work starts for the squad, manager and coaching staff to hopefully start the climb up the table and finish comfortably mid table this season and not put us through another testicle shrinking last day circus.

I think Mbia will be very good addition to our defence, he is what we have been crying out for a strong dominating centre back very much in the Samba mould. I think us as fan mustn’t forget our job which is to support the team and manager. It may take some time but sure enough we will be a force in the premier. As we have the key ingredients too be a success lets just give them time to get it right
