In a word - yes, I wish we could have got him back again this season <ok>

He's quality at Championship level so remains to be seen what he's like at Prem level <ok>

Apparently its the spud's policy not to loan players back out to the same club in successive seasons so if he does well for you and you want him back next season then forget it! <doh>

Rocky's ears will be burning but I'd loved to have got Beavon from Wycombe who can't stop scoring so surely 350k was worth a punt as we'd already bid 200k so what's another 150k FFS <doh>

Apart from that I see us as top 10 at best without a decent prolific striker down to mid table this season <ok>

I think Rocky has been sweating all summer at the prospect of losing Beavon mate <laugh> I must admit, he did exceptionally well with a team that was ultimately relegated last season. Seemed to score for fun (most weeks). I think he would have been well worth a punt for most Championship sides at that sort of fee, it's peanuts in reality!

Not sure I share your confidence about "Walls" chances this season but in fairness I do not really know too much about your squad, maybe that is why I think it could be another hard season for you. We will see fella, keep in touch Steve <ok>

Edit - As I typed that you guys took a 2-0 lead over Boro! Maybe you will do okay after all
