A Chav friend of mine has been telling me all summer how terrible AVB is going to be for us, I tried to point out that they had RDM as their manager and were in no position to take the high road. He wouldn't listen. I'm looking forward to a season of similar results from Chelsea.
RDM won the CL and FA Cup, plus has pedigree in England as player and manager, what does AVB have? I think your friend has every right to take the high road personally.
I would argue that your players on that trophy, in spite of, not because of RDM. All these new, young signings are going to require a lot of guidance, and I doubt RDM is capable of that.
