After a number of years of financial difficulties which included a period in financial administration, QPR was bought by Formula One tycoons and multi-millionaires Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore in a £14 million takeover in August 2007.

We just spent 13,000,000 in this transfer window on three players. <eek>

    Ji-Sung Park Man Utd 2.728.000 £
    Samba Diakité Nancy 3.520.000 £
Esteban Granero Real Madrid 7.040.000 £

In the deepest darker days of back yonder, I used to sit back and watch these transfer deadline days. Even a mention of QPR and a a player I'd never heard of was met with huge excitement. Even if it was only on loan.
The sports pages would be filled with other clubs business in the transfer windows, My beloved QPR not even worthy of a coloumn inch.

I could only dream of the day when we would be linked with let alone sign so many quality players.

So here we are, we find ourselves in the moment. The busiest team in this window, incredible.

So much so soon, too soon. Never.

Thank you TF, Amit, Phillip and everyone else who was involved at QPR for making our dreams come true.

No matter what the score is Saturday It will be what happens after that when the newbies will have had a few weeks with the players. Think 4 a change the international break will do us good?

You are absolutely right. Never thought I would be happy about a international break, there's a first for everything :)

That is a great point. For once I will welcome the International break. I just hope they don't go to Portugal again.

Exactly, i think only Granero is available tomorrow and I imagine he wont start.

Id expect most of them to play the next game and they will have had several weeks of training together which is great.

I know this wasn't your point New York, but I read that Granero was a very reasonable £3.5m.
