Arsenal are stronger than last year, by a huge margin. We will challenge strongly for more than one trophy. You are making no sense whatsoever. At this stage last year everyone was saying RVP will not score 30 goals on his own. You have an opinion which is founded on the fact that Arsenal haven't signed a huge number of over-hyped stars. Chelsea have done that, and just got turned over by Athletico Madrid. I wouldn't get too excited or write-off our season just yet.
Whinge? At 7PM I thot I was going to have to inform the authorities to step up police patrols, as there was a likelihood of increased suicide attempts around the emirates
The thing is we have areas we NEED to strengthen. The fans and press consistantly point this out. Even Wenger has said it himself. Why tell us he's after a Song replacement?.. if he does'nt sign anyone surely that just shows ineptitude. He's telling us he's going to do something that in all likley-hood is'nt going to happen. (much like he told us we could'nt claim to be an ambitious club if we sold Nasri and Fabregas) Arsenal fans are clinging to the TV watching Skysports news praying for some good news. For United, Chelsea, Tottenham, City fans the transfer window is an exciting time, for Arsenal fans however it's simply depressing. Take a look on Twitter. The fans ar'nt happy but the club does'nt give a ****.
I'll say it again. The last day of the window for fans is a bit of a pantomime. If we'd signed Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla today, people would be creaming themselves
Hurrah! Another window, another player not replaced! If Diaby gets injured on Sunday, we're going to have major problems.
Amazing. We are going into a season where we have to rely on Abou Diaby of all people staying fit. Wow.
Michael Essien has signed... for Real Madrid. Well looks like someone's gotta step up to the plate this year.
It was **** planning then and it's **** planning now. Being one injury away from potential calamity is poor management.
