Have we got a better team this season, relatively speaking? Doubtful I think, every other team at our level are increasing their squad and adding quality? It's a feeding frenzy in the transfer market, I can't judge what it all means!

Much better. Fletcher is a better goal scorer then Bentner, Campbell is fit, Saha is experienced and still has a lot to offer. MaCLean was unknown last season, Sess is up to speed in the epl and has found his best position. Colback, Cat's and Ji are another year older and are more experienced. Migg has had a year as our no.1. Then add AJ who is a class above what we have previously had and were looking very good. I also don't think we have seen the best of Gardner yet either. If you believe reports he has had trouble settling but now is enjoying life in the ne. I think the only place were still a little weak is at the back especially at CB. I hope Killa gets a chance because I think he could be the answer, good in the air good on the ground and has pace. He just needs to stay injury free. All in all were looking very good. If we got Milner or Dempsey then were going to be a very very good side this year.

    Near enough spot on. <ok>

Just hope that if Rose does the business we have a buy clause.

Just having Fletcher and Johnson in makes us far better. Saha a better option as well and Cuellar was magnificant at Arsenal and has given our defence a much stronger and cultured feel.

Sess signing and feeling good about not being the only creative outlet will see us get the best out of him as well so itlike a new player as well.

Definately better and with a much better attacking prowess.

I would say better, think the OP if I'm not mistaken is using the likes of Swansea & QPR as a comparision of sort's.

I have to say I'm impressed with what Swansea have done considering it's only there 2nd season in the Prem.
QPR are almost buying an entire squad, which could be troublesome to get them playing as a team.

We look more likely (on paper - we'll see in due course) to score more goals than last term and that alone is enough to make us better. Our defence is the only thing that needs settling and Rose may help us there. Otherwise, we are pretty solid-looking and should be good for 7-11th IMHO.
