My boy is hoping it's Hernandez, he's been holding off having a new shirt for the last couple of weeks waiting for this too happen.

As he's Spanish, clearance should be a formality as he's plying his trade within the European union.

The cursed No 11 shirt.....why didn't someone say something?!

Coates, Forbes, Abbot, Fallon, Gower (who changed to No 27 for better luck) and Sinclair (who had a poor season having changed from No 21)

No worries. All he has to do is take a step back in time to one of the best number elevens I've ever seen in football. And there are a lot of good judges out there who agree with me. Who else but the GREAT Cliffy Jones, worth £30 million+ of anybody's cash in today's money.

I'm not that excited about the Hernandez signing , I'm excited about how excited Laudrup is about the Hernandez signing . Laudrup seems to be one happy manager about getting this guy , almost more than the others , which has got my tail wagging !

That's a strange take Breezy, but not entirely unwelcome. <ok>

Cliff Jones, what a player he was,Ivor, and what a left wing pairing he made with your namesake.
My "dream team" would include those two famous "Sons of Swansea".
    He's 77 now,and still involved with Spurs'.
If I close my eyes I can still see him dancing down the touchline, leaving defenders for dead, the ball glued to his feet.

Wearing the No.11 shirt,Hernandez certainly has his hands full to emulate Cliff.
Let's hope he's up to the task.

Yes...we signed Pablo Jones from Airbus UK just before the deadline.

    OK maybe not.

And don't forget how wickedly quick with it he was, Vetch. As Alan Mullery said: "Jonesy could catch pigeons". He was also superb in the air for not a tall man and was a penalty taker. If Pablo H can anything like emulate Cliff, we will have one hell of a player.

    He was like grease lightening,Ivor.
I'm trying to remember who replaced him in The Swans' team.
Was it Graham "Flicka" Williams, who joined from Everton?
