From BBC transfer website: Italian football expert James Horncastle: "Juventus have completed the signing of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on a season-long loan after he passed a medical at Turin's Clinica Fornaca. His signing hasn't generated all that much enthusiasm among supporters of the Italian champions after they were promised a 'Top Player' thought to be either Robin van Persie or Fernando Llorente by general manager Beppe Marotta. Of course, Bendtner will feel that he more than meets that expectation. "If you ask me if I am one of the best strikers in the world, I say yes because I believe it," he said two years ago." Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner tweets: "I can now finally say I am a Juventus player. Very proud and can't wait to wear the stripes! I hope we will have great times together. "I want to fulfil my potential here and show the fans my absolute best as that is yet to come. I am sure I will. "Thanks for all the support from the Arsenal fans and the Sunderland fans, means the world. We always believe and that gets us far!" So, no mention of how his pink boots match the Juventus away kit, but we all know that's what he's really thinking
i really like bendtner and think he's a quality player, hope he does well over there i think the slower style will suit him down to the ground.
Nice to see he was thinking about us as well, even though we kinda were shouting for Ji when we were playing Wigan, think it pissed him off....
Bloody hell we thought we have had it bad over the years. They think they are in for Van Persie and end up with Bendtner! Do they have The Samaritans in Italy?
Tbh, he wasnt that bad for us but he just wasnt DB or AG and that was his problem. He was our top scorer last season after all and dont forget, he went ****ing Tonto over the scum one night and wrecked a few craas cars. Lol
