I'd agree with that. I think he's a good player but as I've been saying we could get a midfielder(Dembele) and half a winger for the money being talked about.

AVB clearly wants him though so I'm not going to argue with him if we also get in another bloody winger by the end of the day.



Sad to see Rafa go, wish him all the best he was a top player for us. If we're going to 433 then I can understand it but if not it's a poor decision, in my opinion.

Apparently Moutinho's personal terms are proving to be a problem now. I guess he's looking for bigger wages than we want to offer.

Personally cannot believe that the club wouldnt have sorted the personal terms first before settling with the club. Weren't there similar 'issues' mentioned with Mousa before he was formally announced?

If you could sign Lorente, Lloris and another good centre back and maybe a 2nd defender as a squad player you would have a good side.

 

You can't do that can you - it would be 'tapping up'.

 

That's an understatement! Can't see us signing another centre back or striker but hopefully a winger will be signed although it's all very quiet on that front.
