Any-one see the Basketball last night. Great match taking the Germans to extra time before just falling short. Lots more medal opportunities today including the start of the Rowing.

He owns half of Sky, not all of it. Murdoch owns/has major shares in many other companies, many of which you have probably used/bought from without even knowing it.
The only reason my family and I don't have sky is because it is so expensive, nothing to do with Murdoch. I'm more than happy with freeview thank you very much.
All the people I know with Sky are on benefits (and/or heavily in debt). I can't afford it because I work and get paid an average wage. It's the logic of the welfare state.
Bronze for Aled Davies Men's Shot Put - F42/44 ParalympicsGB running medal total: 2 Gold; 4 Silver; 3 Bronze
Athletics, Basketball, Swimming and Cycling. That's pretty much all they're showing. It's like being in America! Why not some Goal Ball or Archery? Or Table Tennis or Volleyball!?
4 were never going to match the BEEB on coverage. They only have three channels available as I understand it.
Agree especially about the ads but this is the most covered Paralympics ever so I suppose we should be praising them for bidding in the first place.
None of the three bonus channels have anything on at the moment, two of them having over an hour and a half without on. That's pretty shoddy as I'd imagine there's something going on right now. I think the BBC would have provided better coverage.
Channel 4 can't afford to cover events that will not get a guaranteed bug audience. Gotta sell that advertising time!
To be fair, these are the advert-less channels available on Sky and Virgin Media but even still, there's probably something going on so why not show something rather than a still of the schedule?. And why give it to Channel 4 in the first place? Just another example of giving it to the company that pays the most, regardless of the service they provide. It's like the media equivalent of giving the West Coast Mainline to the First Group.
